Ethiopian New Year (Enkutatash) is celebrated every September, marking the start of the Ethiopian calendar year. It coincides with the end of the rainy season and the blossoming of bright yellow Adey Abeba flowers. On this day, the number of daylight and night-time hours are equal, adding to its symbolism. The celebration extends over a week with family feasts, bonfires, and heartfelt wishes for prosperity in the new year.
Each tickets includes, food, music, dancing and a complimentary soft drink.
