On Sat 16th we’ll be welcoming back friends and house espresso supplier Triple Co Roast at Drop-in Richmond for a coffee tasting or ‘cupping’.
Through Colombia to Ethiopia to Indonesia, expect a surprising range of origin countries, flavours and processes to excite the palate.
Cupping is the professional method of tasting coffee and this is a great opportunity to peel behind the curtain of a global industry, taste some delicious coffees and ask some of those burning questions you’ve always had about coffee. Such as, ‘Are coffee beans actually beans?’ or ‘Which has more caffeine, espresso or cafetiere?’, the answer may surprise you.
Triple Co’s head roaster & buyer will be on hand to talk about their sourcing practices, sensory analysis and the specialty coffee movement at large, so come along and give it a go. Kick off is at Midday
