Supporting the Ethiopian Community in Britain: A Call for Action

For over 36 years, the Ethiopian Community Association in Britain has stood as a beacon of support for Ethiopian immigrants, offering vital services such as immigration assistance, housing support, job search guidance, English language education, and counseling. This independent organization, free from political influence, is dedicated to serving all Ethiopians, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation.

However, this pillar of the community now faces challenges that threaten its ability to continue providing these essential services. In a heartfelt video message, a prominent member of the Ethiopian Community and the Highgate Black Women’s Wellness Group has appealed for support to save the community. She emphasized the importance of sustaining the association’s work and highlighted the availability of the community’s space for rent as a way to generate much-needed funds.

We invite you to join us in supporting the Ethiopian Community Association in Britain. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word, every action counts. This community has been there for its members for decades. Now, it’s our turn to ensure it remains a beacon of hope and assistance for many more years to come.

Take action today and help secure a brighter future for the Ethiopian Community in Britain!
