St. Amanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Birmingham is the operating name of Debre Medhanit Kidus Amanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church in Birmingham, referred to as DMKA-EOTC for short and is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity in England and wales (charity number: 1118441) established in October 2002. In the 20 years since its founding, the church has played an important role in bringing together the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox faith believers from across the West Midlands. This is the only Ethiopian community church in Birmingham for more than 300 families following this faith, and as such bears the burden of fulfilling various roles for the community.
